Please read carefully the following terms and conditions about booking a holiday by Carpfishingtrips.co.uk. It is important that both parties understand the contractable relationship regarding the fishing trip you have booked with Carp Fishing Trips.co.uk
Once we receive your completed booking form and deposit, your holiday on the chosen venue will be reserved for you and your party and a contract will exist.
Your booking is confirmed and accepted in respect of all persons travelling when we forward our invoice to the person signing the booking form.
Carpfishingtrips.co.uk is acting as booking agents for the fishing, travel & accommodation providers.
Your completed booking form showing all clients must be accompanied by your deposit.
The deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost your fishing trip.
The deposit is between 50% and the total cost of your fishing trip
The person signing the booking form confirms that he/she has the authority of all other persons included in the fishing trip to make the booking on their behalf and that he/she has read and accepted
these booking terms and conditions. All bookings and departure dates are confirmed to (and all
correspondence will be with) the person signing the booking form. The person signing the booking
form is liable for all costs and charges on behalf of the party.
On receipt of the Carp Fishing Trips.co.uk booking forms and the conformation formit is vital that the
details are correct. If there are any discrepancies or they are not as requested it is important to contact us immediately.
If you want to cancel or amend your holiday at a later date you may be liable for extra fees
Every care is taken to ensure that our brochures/fliers and website are accurate, however due to the fact that brochures & fliers may have been prepared for some time. Changes may have taken place. Our website is updated on a regular basis so the brochures/fliers may differ. If we are made aware of any changes relating to the fishing trip you have booked we will notify you as soon as possible.
All our prices are shown in UK sterling unless otherwise stated.
The balance of the total cost of the holiday must be paid 90 days before departure. If you book within 90 days of departure you must pay the total cost of your holiday at the time of booking. After we have received the balance then we will send all other necessary documents to you.
If unconditional payment of the balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, forfeit any deposit made and levy a cancellation charge as though there had been a cancellation. Payment can be made by cheque, cash or by transfer into Carp Fishing Trips.co.uk bank account. A charge of £15.00 will be made for any cheques that are returned to Carp Fishing Trips.co.uk by your bank uncleared.
In the event you cancel your confirmed booking, it can only accepted if it is in writing from the person who signed the booking form, and the following cancellation charges will apply: Period before departure Cancellation Charge; More than 90 days 50% of total cost Less than and 90 days 100% of total cost. The deposit is not refundable.
The client shall report to the owner/bailiff without delay and broken or missing items, defect or breakdowns at the start of their holiday. The clients shall reimburse the owner/bailiff for any damage/breakdown of the property contents and equipment in the grounds including that caused by negligence by anyone in their party.
You must have a valid UK passport. This is your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for
any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents
Carpfishingtrips.co.uk and the venue owners reserve the right to immediately terminate the services
they are contractually obliged to provide to you if they, their employees or agents or any other appropriate person in authority in any place or on any vehicle or craft judge your behaviour to be likely to cause discomfort or harm to other clients or any other person or property. If because of such behaviour you are prevented by our carrier from travelling, our contractual obligations under these conditions will terminate immediately. In either case any appropriate cancellation fee will apply and we will not be liable to you for any refund or compensation for any costs or damage which you may incure.
Travel arrangements/requirements are your responsibilty and we accept no reponsibility for delays or cancellations for the ferries, trains, aeroplanes or if there are any irregularites in your travel documents. you are advised to have a comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover,personal effects, cover, medical cover and public liability over as these are not covered by Carp Fishing Trips.co.uk
We will not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following: Strikes, Political Unrest, Riots, Hostilities, War or threat of War, Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Technical/Weather problems to transportation, Closure of Ports, Weather conditions or any other event(s) beyond our control.
Carpfishingtrips.co.uk strongly recommends that you purchase personal travel and vehicle breakdown insurance and does not accept liability for any financial loss incurred as a result of you not so doing.
Whenever possible, any changes to the booking requested after the written confirmation of booking is sent out to you will be accommodated.
Signature of the booking form or by return email constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Complaints Procedure: In the unlikely event that you or a member of your party has a complaint about your holiday; whilst at the venue, the complaint must be notified to the local representative in the first instance. Unresolved complaints must be sent in writing to Carpfishingtrips.co.uk within 7 days of arrival back in the UK.
The venue owners & Carpfishingtrips.co.uk liability shall be limited as specified on the invoice to the cost of the fishing.
We are not liable for any temporary defect or stoppage of public services to the property in respect of any equipment or appliances in the property, nor any loss, damage or injury as a result of adverse weather or any other matter however caused.
Our aim is to provide a high level of service to all our customers. However we are not a specialist operator in the field of fishing trips for the disabled.
The majority of the fishing venues and accommodation that we offer is not suitable or equipped for the needs of many disabled people. Therefore if you have any disability we must be informed at the time of booking and we will do our best to help and advice. We cannot be held responsible for any difficulties encountered due to the unsuitability of the facilities.
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The use of boats at any of our venues is entirely at your own risk. Boat hire or loan is not included in any of our fishing trips.
If you wish to use a boat, its loan or hire would be a separate contract between you and the person hiring or loaning the boat. We strongly recommend that you use a lifejacket and ensure adequate safety precautions are taken at all times.
All venues are primarily fishing venues, they are not necessarily suitable for children. Persons taking
children are reminded that they do so entirely at their own risk. Adults are responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children. Extra care should always be taken near water.
All people must carry their own insurance when on holiday as Carp Fishing Trips.co.uk, cannot be held responsible for any accidents ,deaths, births, car or boat issues and this includes activities in the and out of the water. We also are not responsible for people on special medicine or special needs.
As on any holiday/fishing trip you should carry insurance's to cover all aspects of risks and damages that may occur this includes insurance for change of flights ferry or trains and possible change of destination.
All deposits for fishing trips are non returnable this is normal for any deposits in any situations. We are not responsible for any natural disasters or any unforeseen circumstances that may happen whilst you are here or before your arrival. We will endeavour to inform you if there are circumstances that may eventually lead to your holiday being spoilt in any way for example river or lake conditions that are not fishable, flight, ferry or train delays,(if we have arranged these for you)
We also reserve the right to inform the local police of any illegal activities or any major circumstances that may arrive.
We reserve the right to change this legal / public notice at any time for any reason unforeseen and may be at a later date as to what is or is not advertised.
