A 54 acre lake just a 5 minutes drive from the motorway. Lac du Grand Fontenay has just 17 swims. Swims 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 15 are single swims, swims 12, 13 & 14 are double swims and swims 16 & 17 have fisherman lodges with electricity and a bed. Swims 2 & 3 have chalets with electricity and running water. (For up to 2 anglers & 4 non anglers) with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, toilet, lounge/diner room, TV and 2 bikes.

There are 2 bedrooms, 1 with bunk beds and 1 double bed. They have a bathroom and toilet, there is a fully fitted kitchen, dining room/living room with TV and use of 2 bicycles.
The fisherman’s cabins are located on swims 16 & 17. There is no need to bring your bivvy to these swims as you can put all your tackle and bedchair inside. the cabin also has electricity.
Cost per angler per week single swims 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 15: £275.00.
Cost for double swims per week (12, 13 & 14): £550.00.
Cost for fishermans cabins per week (1 angler) (swims 16 & 17): £380.00.
Cost for chalet per week (swims 2 & 3) for up to 2 anglers & 4 non anglers: £965.00.
Cost for small bay (swims 4 - 11) per week exclusive including fishermans cabin and row boats allowed: £2,350.00. Maximum 10 anglers
Cost for large bay (swims 1 - 3, 12 - 17) per week including fishermans cabin, chalet and row boats allowed: £3,050.00. Maximum 14 anglers
Cost for lake exclusive with fishermans cabins, chalets, rowboats allowed: £4,250.00 a maximum of 22 anglers.
To be paid in Euros on arrival to Lake owners if required
Electricity in swims 4, 10, 11 & 15 per week €25.00 (this is not suitable for electric heaters).
Bike rental per week €10.00.
Do not arrive on site before 13:00 on your day of arrival.
You must depart your swim by 11:00 on your day of departure.
If you wish to change swims during your session, you must get permission from the bailiff first.
Do not discard unused bait in the lake on departure.
Do not hang plastic bags etc as markers on the far bank.
“H” type markers are not allowed. Pole type markers are OK.
All care must be taken to protect the fish. A fish antiseptic must be used on all hook holds, cuts or sores on the fish.
No rods to be left unattended while they are fishing.
A minimum of 15lb/bs mainline.
Braid is not allowed as a mainline.
Fish must be released from where they are caught.
A good quality unhooking mat/cradle must be used.
Unhooking mats/must not be left in direct sunlight.
Fish must be kept wet while on the unhooking mats/cradle, using fresh water from the lake.
Do not mutilate/mark the fish.
Do not stand while photographing fish.
Up to 4 rods per angler.
Maggots, worms and artificial baits are allowed but only on the hair/hook.
Barbless hooks only. Completely crushed barbs are allowed.
Lead core tolerated with a maximum length of 50 centimetres.
Only fish friendly, lead releasing rigs allowed.
Swims must be kept clean and tidy.
Do not throw/leave cigarette butts, bottle tops etc on the ground.
Rubbish bags must be kept inside your bivvy/shelter.
You must remove your own rubbish. There are recycling bins etc very close to the lake.
Leave the showers/toilets clean after use.
Do not urinate in the lake.
Do not use the bushes, bank side etc as a toilet.
1 dog per angler is allowed but must be kept on a lead and you must clean up after them.
All dogs must be vaccinated and the owner must have a suitable insurance to cover any bites, attacks etc.
Anybody just visiting the lake must leave their cars in the car park.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Only properly prepared particles allowed, lupins, peanuts, hazelnuts and brazil nuts are not allowed.
Baitboats are allowed, you must respect other anglers fishing areas at all times.
The owners of the property/lake or Carp Fishing Trips do not take any responsibility in case of accidents, thefts or material damage.
Anybody not abiding to the above rules may/will be told to leave the venue without any refund.
